ANNUAL CONVENTION AND CAREER EXPOSITION

When will the participating companies and carriers in the Career Exposition be announced? Participating companies will be shared beginning in late May on the homepage and social channels of OBAP.

How can I schedule an appointment at the Career Exposition? OBAP will not be scheduling appointments for the career exposition this year.  Registered attendees will be given a priority access number based on the date and time that you register for the event.  More detailed information about the process will be sent to registered attendees closer to the event via email, the OBAP website and social channels.

I just renewed my OBAP Membership, how long before I can register for the Convention at member rates? Please allow up to 48 hours for your member profile to be updated within the system in order to secure OBAP member rates during the event registration process. PLEASE NOTE: Attempting to register for the Convention and Career Exposition in advance of your OBAP member account being fully updated within the system will incur non-member rates. 

What day can I use my Career Fair pass?  The Career Fair Pass is valid for all three days.

What is the attire for the Convention?  Business attire for all meetings and Black Tie for the Gala.

Do I need to sign up to speak to the recruiters?  No, most meetings with recruiters will be available as walk ups. More information to follow. 

What carriers will be at the Career Fair?  The participating carriers will be listed under the convention link on the homepage.  We will update this list frequently as carriers register for the event.

Will all of the carriers be in attendance all three days?  Yes. All recruiters will be in attendance all three days. 

I can't attend the event because my schedule changed, can I get a refund?  Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy: Each refund less a $50.00 processing fee will be granted for cancellation requests received by 5:00pm, June 23, 2017. Cancellation requests to transfer registration from original registrant's name to substitute attendee must be made by 5:00pm, June 23, 2017. No refund or transfer requests will be accepted after 5:00pm, June 23, 2017. Membership fees are non-refundable.​ To cancel or transfer your registration, please sign into your registration using your confirmation number, then select "Modify Registration."​

What do I do when I arrive at the Convention?  Please go to the OBAP registration desk to pick up your badge and registration information.  Registration opens at 5pm on Tuesday, August 8th.

I am a student and would like to register for the convention at the student rate, how do I qualify?  The student registration is for full-time students of a college or university who are under the age of 23 and not gainfully employed (less than 40 hours per week). If you meet these requirements please download and submit the student registration form as instructed on the site.
