Welcome Orientation: Welcome to the 2019 OBAP Collegiate Series. Learn everything you need to know about who we are and how we can help you achieve your career goals. You will meet key figures at OBAP and will be introduced to the many resources available to you as an OBAP collegiate member.

Collegiate Series-  Resume Writing and Branding Yourself – Facilitated by Judy Tarver and Tamara Smith

In this highly-anticipated workshop students will learn the art of resume writing as well as how to brand themselves for success in a competitive job market. Participants will walk away with a professional pilot or management style resume that will be interview-ready. Leading industry professionals from Pilot Counseling Services, American Airlines, and the Federal Aviation Administration will also be on hand to prepare students for government careers

Collegiate Series-  FAA Presentation and Internships – Facilitated by Deloris Martin

From test pilots to aerospace engineers, join FAA Acting Director of Aviation Safety, Mrs. Deloris Martin, as she navigates through all of the fascinating career opportunities available within the Federal Aviation Administration. Start preparing for an FAA career today by taking advantage of one of the many FAA internships that will be detailed at this presentation.

Students will have a golden opportunity to test and sharpen their interview skills in front of industry professionals while receiving instant feedback on their performance. Real airline and government recruiters will review resumes and provide one-on-one coaching for when that big day comes.

The OBAP Collegiate team will introduce students to various internship opportunities that are available to help them get an early start on their careers. Students will also have an opportunity to sit and talk with representatives from several major companies to get more in-depth information about the internships they provide.

Insurance is a critical piece of your financial plan.  This workshop is designed to help cut through the complexities of buying insurance, and help you understand the pros and cons of different insurance products. This information is important for everyone!
